Removal
Details of installation of a cover of a chain of the GRM drive

1. Remove forward covers.
2. Remove the pump of the cooling system (2).
3. Remove the air filter with the measuring instrument of an air stream.
4. Remove the air pump (9).
5. Remove the generator (13).
6. Install the piston of the first cylinder in situation 30 ° after VMT.
7. Mark a GRM drive chain arrangement concerning asterisks of camshafts.
8. Remove a pulley of a bent shaft with a damper of tortional fluctuations. |

1. Turn off a pulley (10) of the steering pump (12) and remove it, establish a belt of the drive of the generator (21) over a pulley (10), establish a clamp (14) and weaken fixing bolts.
2. Turn out bolts of fastening of the steering pump (12) and fix the pump with the attached tubes sideways. On engines with the VMT sensor unscrew (L1/1) and (L1/2) sensors from a GRM drive chain cover. |

1. Unscrew the filter of the air pump (4) and remove it.
2. Turn off bolts (15) and (16) and remove an arm (3) of the air pump/generator.
3. Turn off a natyazhitel of a chain of the GRM drive. |
| 4. Turn off bolts (17), (18) and (19) and uncover a GRM drive chain. |

1. Wipe and grease with sealant the sealing surfaces (shooter) of the oil highway of a cover of a chain of the GRM (7) drive.
2. Wipe sealing surfaces of a cover of a chain of the GRM (7) drive and block of cylinders. Grease the sealing surfaces of the oil highway of a cover of a chain of the GRM (7) drive with sealant 002 989 73 20 10.
3. Replace sealing rings (8).
4. Establish a cover of a chain of the GRM (7) drive. |
| 5. Tighten bolts of fastening (17) and (18) the first. |
|
| 6. Check combination of color tags (arrow) for chains of the GRM drive and on asterisks of camshafts. |
|
7. Establish a natyazhitel of a chain of the GRM drive.
8. Further installation is carried out as it should be, the return to removal. |
