Removal of heads of the block of cylinders with camshafts and final collectors is possible only after full cooling of the engine!

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Install the piston of the first cylinder in situation 30 ° after VMT. In this situation camshafts can be turned without impact of valves and pistons.
2. Mark the mutual provision of asterisks of camshafts concerning a GRM drive chain.
3. On the left head of the block of cylinders: pick up the phone (5) ventilations of a case.
4. On the left head of the block of cylinders remove a finger (1) of the directing lever by means of a stripper and a carving insert.
5. Unscrew the filter of the pump of admixture of air in an exhaust and remove it.
6. Turn off air supply tubes from the pump of admixture of air in an exhaust. On the right head of the block of cylinders one bolt is on a head, one bolt on an arm of the engine and one bolt on the engine case pallet. On the left head of the block of cylinders: one bolt - on a head, one - on the block of cylinders below a final collector and one - on the left arm of the engine.
7. Turn off the directing pipe of the index of level of oil. On the right head of the block of cylinders turn off the directing pipe (7) of the probe of measurement of the ATF level from the block of cylinders and transmission.
8. On the right head of the block of cylinders turn off also a tube of ventilation of a case (8) from a head of the block of cylinders (shooter).
9. Turn off a final collector in a back part of the block of cylinders.
10. Merge cooling liquid from the block of cylinders. For this purpose turn off traffic jams (shooter) with consolidations. Moment of tightening of 30 Nanometers.
11. Working as it should be, the return shown on an illustration, weaken bolts of fastening of a head of the block of cylinders as it should be, the return to a tightening order, starting with the 14th.
12. Establish a lifting eye on a head of the block of cylinders. Turn off a cover of the 1st bearing of the final camshaft on the right head of the block of cylinders and establish an arm with the directing plugs (18a). Turn off a cover of the 2nd bearing of the final camshaft on the left head of the block of cylinders and establish an arm with the directing plugs (18a). Moment of tightening of 21 Nanometer.
13. Attach the elevator to an arm and a back lifting point of the engine, lift and remove a head of the block of cylinders.

Do not damage the tension and directing levers!

14. Check a contact surface of a head of the block of cylinders.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Establish laying. Pay attention to an arrangement of the directing fingers (1) and the directing plugs (2) for an arrangement of a head of the block of cylinders.
2. Check bolts of fastening of a head of the block of cylinders.
3. Grease a carving part of bolts and contact surfaces of heads of the block of cylinders with motive oil and insert them.
4. Tighten fastening bolts in strictly certain order.
5. Further installation is made as it should be, the return to removal. Check installation of camshafts. Check liquid level in AT and add it if it is necessary.
