Details of installation of a basic arm

|
1. Uncover heads of the block of cylinders.
2. Remove a radiator.
3. Take off a generator drive belt.
4. Remove the thermostat case.
5. Shoot the directing video.
6. Remove a branch pipe (9a) of the cooling system.

| 7. Remove a rotor and the runner (4) distributors (series 120.980 engines). |
|
8. Remove a protective cover and consolidation.
9. Lift the tank of the pump of the amplifier of steering up and remove it together with tubes.
10. Turn off an arm (11) and remove it. |
| 11. Turn off an adapter (12a) of the pump of the amplifier of steering (12). |
|
| 12. Turn off bolts (shooters) and remove forward covers. |
|
13. Replace rubber laying and a sealing ring under a cooling system branch pipe.
14. Wipe sealing surfaces of a forward cover and a head of the block of cylinders. |
| 15. Check laying of the directing bridge of a chain of the GRM drive for lack of traces of damages and if it is necessary, replace it. |
|
|
Installation
At installation of the top covers be convinced that rubber laying is not displaced (shooters) down

1. Apply sealant 002 989 7320 10 in a groove of a cover of a chain of the GRM drive of the left and right heads of cylinders. Insert new laying (without sealant) into a dry groove. Oil laying top motive. Grease with the same sealant contact surfaces of a head of the block of cylinders.

|
2. On engines 120.980 install the plug (1) on the final camshaft. Grease a sealing edge of a radial epiploon (2) with motive oil.
3. Establish forward covers. At their installation be convinced that rubber laying is not displaced down, chamfer the lower part of laying. On the left cover remove a stopper (31), a finger of the directing lever and reinstall them after installation of a cover.
4. Establish bolts of fastening of covers. Tighten the lower bolts the first.
5. Further installation is made as it should be, the return to removal. The cut on the runner (4) has to be combined with a finger on the camshaft. |
