4.5.4. Removal and installation of heads of the block of cylinders
Removal

Order of tightening of bolts of fastening of a head of the block of cylinders |
|
|
1. Lift a cowl and establish it vertically.
2. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
3. Merge cooling liquid.
4. Take off a generator drive belt. |
| 5. On the left head of the block of cylinders: turn off bolts. Disconnect a basic plate together with the pump of the amplifier of steering (11) from the tension device and fix sideways aside with the attached tubes. |
|
6. On the right head of the block of cylinders: unscrew the generator from an arm and fix it sideways with the attached wires.
7. Uncover heads of the block of cylinders.
8. Remove a forward cover of GRM. |
| 9. Bring the engine into situation 45 ° before VMT of the piston of the first cylinder. |
|
| 10. Mark the mutual provision of asterisks of camshafts and a chain of the GRM drive. |
|
11. Remove a natyazhitel of a chain of the GRM drive.
12. Remove the top directing levers.
13. Turn off asterisks of final camshafts and regulators of camshafts before removal.
14. Remove the inlet pipeline.
15. On the left head of the block of cylinders: disconnect a cooling system branch pipe in a back part of a head of the block of cylinders.
16. On the right head of the block of cylinders: turn off the directing pipe of the index of level of AT liquid.
17. Turn off system of release from final collectors.
18. Disconnect system of release from an arm on AT.
19. On the right head of the block of cylinders: turn off conducting from below on the right. |
| 20. Before removal of a head of the block of cylinders turn out bolts with washers (a), (b), (c), (d), (e), (f). |

| 21. Otpuskaniye of bolts of fastening of a head is made by means of the screw-driver insert (1) as it should be the return shown on an illustration. |
|
| 22. Establish a lifting eye on a head of the block of cylinders before removal. For this purpose turn off the second and fourth covers of bearings of the camshaft on the right and left heads, establish an eye with the directing plugs. |
|
23. Attach a lifting chain to lifting eyes, lift heads of the block of cylinders and remove them from the engine.
24. Check contact surfaces of heads of the block of cylinders.
25. Replace laying of heads of the block of cylinders. Check bolts of fastening and, if necessary, replace them. |

Installation

Installation is made as it should be, the return to removal. Tighten bolts with washers the moment of 25 Nanometers once when the inlet pipeline is already installed. The order of tightening of bolts of fastening of a head of the block of cylinders is shown on an illustration. |
