The code of the camshaft is beaten out on a flange near VM tag

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. On engines with a turbocompressor pick up the phone of supply of compressed air
2. Uncover a head of the block of cylinders.
3. Install the piston of the first cylinder in the provision of VMT.

Do not rotate a bent shaft of the engine for a bolt of an asterisk of the camshaft and aside, the return to the direction of rotation.

4. Remove a natyazhitel of a chain of the GRM drive.
5. On models with a self-regulating suspension bracket remove the oil pump.
6. Combine tags on an asterisk of the camshaft and a chain of the GRM drive.
7. Turn off a bolt of fastening of an asterisk of the camshaft, having held the camshaft by means of a metal core.
8. Remove an asterisk of the camshaft and allow a chain to whistle.
9. Turn off bolts of fastening of covers (1), (5) and (6) bearings of the camshaft. Weaken bolts of fastening of covers (2), (3), (4) and (7) serially, on one turn everyone.
10. Remove the camshaft.
11. Remove lock laying (the regulator of an axial gap) and check its state.
12. Remove hydrocompensators. Check their state (visually) and if it is necessary, replace them.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Insert lock laying (the regulator of an axial gap) into a head of the block of cylinders.
2. Oil the camshaft motive and establish it in a head of the block of cylinders so that the tag of VMT was located above.
3. Establish covers of bearings of the camshaft and tighten bolts of their fastening. At first tighten covers (2), (3), (4) and (7) serially, on one turn everyone. Then tighten bolts of fastening of covers (1), (3) and (6) bearings of the camshaft.
4. Establish a camshaft asterisk, having combined a tag on it with a tag on a GRM drive chain.
5. Establish a natyazhitel of a chain of the GRM drive.
6. Install the oil pump.
7. Install the piston of the first cylinder in the provision of VMT and check combination of tags.
8. Establish a cover of a head of the block of cylinders. Start the engine and check lack of leaks.
