3.1. Specifications

The recommended lubricants and liquids

Do not allow children to operational materials, - at their hit in the child's organism immediately see a doctor!

Apply the materials which are exclusively recommended by the Mercedes-Benz company, - they are listed in special Instructions of firm. On this matter you can receive the reference on HUNDRED. Use of the allowed operational materials is a component of guarantee certificates.

Type and working liquids

Fuel

Petrol models Unleaded gasoline is not worse than AI95/A85. Short-term use of unleaded gasoline is allowed not worse AI91/A82.5 (developed by the engine power a little decreases, fuel consumption grows).

Use of additives to fuel is fraught premature to wear and damages of internal components of the engine!

Diesel models

Summer and winter diesel fuel

Do not apply diesel fuels ship, boiler, etc.!

When using diesel fuel with raised (more than 0.5%) the content of sulfur you make replacement of motive oil through each 7500 km of a run from above.

Winter fuel provides normal operability of the engine at temperatures up to -20 °C.

Thanks to preliminary heating of fuel at the included system of heating of salon trouble-free functioning of the engine is guaranteed at temperatures of external air up to -25 °C.

Do not add gasoline to diesel fuel!

In case of use of summer diesel fuel, and also at temperatures of external air below -15 °C it is necessary to add certain, depending on temperature of external air quantity of means for improvement of fluidity or kerosene to fuel.

Means for improvement of fluidity can be used also in combination with kerosene.

The certificate of the allowed means for improvement of fluidity can be received on any HUNDRED Mercedes-Benzs.

The share of content of additive taking into account temperature of external air has to be minimum.

The kerosene share in mix has to make no more than 50%.

Additive has to be added to fuel during gas station before there was its solidification to release of paraffin. Faults owing to release of paraffin can be rectified only by heating of all power supply system.
You carry out mixing of diesel fuel with kerosene only in the fuel tank, - at first in a tank kerosene is filled in, then diesel fuel is added. In conclusion it is necessary to allow to the engine to work for distribution of mix on all path of a power supply system for some time.

Additives of kerosene lead to decrease in a point of ignition of diesel fuel owing to what fire danger of mix increases! Follow the corresponding safety regulations!
